 Do pinatas come filled?
No, but we can fill your pinata for you. To do so you need to do the following:
1. Add a pinata and pinata fillers to your order.
2. On the checkout page write "please fill my pinata" in the "Order Comments" section. We'll send any remaining candy in your package.
NOTE: We cannot fill your pinata when you order the Pull Ribbon Conversion Kit as you will need to cut an opening on bottom of pinata to install this kit.
 How do you fill pinatas?
1.All our pinatas come with a tab that opens when you press gently on it. Use a cutter or scissors if you are not able to open it just by pressing on it.
2. Lift the lid towards you and fill the opening with candy and toys.
Does Pinatas.com offer pinatas on licensed themes?
Yes, we offer pinatas on kids most popular party themes, including licensed ones. We also offer licensed NBA pinatas.
1. Visit our Kids Party Supply section to find pinatas and favors on kids favorite party themes.
2. If you still can't find a pinata on your party theme in this section, visit our Match Your Party Theme section. Here you will find mylar balloons on the most popular party themes, customizable pinatas and easy instructions to customize your pinata. If you prefer we can send your pinata already customized at no additional charges: just add pinata and mylar balloon to your order and write "please send my pinata already customized with balloon" in the "Order Comments" section on the checkout page.
Can I order a custom made pinata?
Yes, we can make a pinata on any shape! To have your pinata custom made you must fill a form to provide us with the following information:
description of your pinata
quantity, dimensions and color(s)
date of the party
your name, address, city, state, zip, email and phone number.
You will also need to provide us with an image of what you want your pinata of. Please send us a picture or photo to esther@pinatas.com or fax it to (915) 860-7101.
We will send you a quote for your custom made pinata within 24 hours after receiving your filled out form.
How do you play the traditional pinata game?
You need:
a long rope
a buster stick
a blindfold
a tree branch, basketball hoop, beam or anything strong to hang your pinata from it.
Instructions:
1. If you have already filled your pinata, tie the rope from the loop found at the top of the pinata.
2. Pass the rope over the branch or hoop, leaving the pinata hanging from one end.
3. An adult must hold the other end to swing the pinata up and down.
4. Have kids make a line. KIDS MUST BE AT LEAST 15 FT AWAY FROM THE PINATA.
5. Blindfold the first kid and give her/him the buster bat. Each child will have several chances to hit the pinata.
6. After the first child has hit the pinata a few times the next child will be blindfolded and given the bat.
7. All kids must beat the pinata one by one, starting over with the first child in line if the pinata does not break open after the last kid has hit it.
8. When the pinata breaks open, all kids must pick as many candies and party favors as they can from the floor. Kids must have loot bags ready to put in their toys and candy.

How do you play the pull ribbon game?
1. You need:
a rope
a tree branch, basketball hoop, beam or anything strong to hang your pinata from it.
Instructions:
1. If you have already filled your pinata, tie the rope from the loop found at the top of the pinata.
2. Tie the other end of the rope to the branch or hoop.
3. Pull pinatas come with a secret trap door at the bottom and 20 or 30 ribbons hanging from the bottom. Just one of the ribbons is attached to the trap door and will open it when pulled.
4. Have each kid pull a string one by one or all at the same time. When the “lucky” ribbon is pulled, all the goodies will be spilled out!
5. Let kids pick up the goodies that fall to the floor and put them in their loot bags to take home.

If an item is out of stock the system won't let you add it to your cart.
Can I place my order over the phone?
Sure. You can call in your order to 915-858-2287, x22 from Monday thru Friday between 8 am to 6 pm MST. Our webrep will give you the total amount and delivery date for your order.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times depend on the shipping method you select. You can choose from 3 shipping methods:
- Ground shipping: Allow 8-10 business days to receive your order. Normally, it will arrive earlier, but make better to play it safe.
- 2-Day: 3 days in total, due to the fact that order processing may take up to 24 hours.
- 1-Day: 2 days in total, due to the fact that order processing may take up to 24 hours.
Will I get reimbursed if I'm not satisfied with my order?
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order you must send your claim to webrep@pinatas.com within 5 days after receipt of your order. You may be credited for damaged merchandise, shortages or late deliveries. No refunds on freight charges.
All orders received on business days (i.e. Monday through Friday) are shipped within 24 hours after they are received. Orders received on weekends or holidays will be shipped the next business day. Please note that day in which order is shipped is not considered a day in transit.
